EARNS NATIONAL AWARD

Congratulations!

The "Empty Bowls" Fundraiser conducted last spring received the  "Outstanding Service Project" Award
- one of ten awarded throughout the country -
at the National Honor Society Conference Nov. 14-16
in Orlando, Florida.

The students designed and painted about 200 clay
bowls and sold them filled with soup to community members for $10 a piece.  The project raised $1500
for the Haven from Hunger and Inn Transition, local organizations that serve hungry and homeless people.
