The Brown School actively participates in this nationally recognized program which challenges teams of students in problem solving and creative arts activities. Volunteer parent coaches work with our students from October through March for this competition.
The Brown School Bulldogs compete in Peabody's Inter-School Basketball Program, which consists of a seven-game schedule with each of the city's seven other elementary schools. City champions are named in March after playoffs.
This Spring, our fifth-grade students will participate in a science fair sponsored by the Peabody Municipal Light Plant. The energy-based format allows students to show their concern for the environment and presents a platform for students with various learning styles to excel.

The Peabody Education Foundation is a collaboration of school and business leaders who work to provide programs for the Peabody Public Schools. Programs include the "Guest Reader Program," which provides community and business representatives who read to individual classes on a regular basis; the "Best Bet Program," which provides classroom and cultural initiatives for our children; and "Kids Voting,". The Brown School is an active participant in this wonderful collaborative.
