Susan E. Baker was the
second wife of Charles Colby Pike. They married January 29, 1874.
Pike was physician. He attended Colby academy, N.H., H.C. medical
schools and graduated from the D.C. medical school in May 1869. He was
president of the U.S. pension board in Salem for four years; President of the
Peabody law and order league and a trustee of the Peabody Institute. He
enlisted in 11 Reg. N.H.V.M and was wounded at Fredericksburg.
