The Peabody K-12 Summer Reading Program supports the educational growth and development of students as lifelong learners. Summer reading helps to maintain the child’s reading level, thus ensuring a smoother transition from grade to grade.  Summer reading fosters choice, encourages appreciation of literature, and enhances learning by offering a variety of works.
