School Choice/ SES

(Only Carroll Students are eligible for these services in  SY2009-2010)

Districts are required to offer students enrolled in Title I schools identified for improvement, corrective action, or restructuring the option to transfer to another public school served by the district that has not been identified for improvement, if this option exists. Students from limited-income families attending Title I schools in their second year of school improvement (i.e., schools that have not made adequate yearly progress (AYP) for three or more years), corrective action, or restructuring status are eligible to receive Free Tutoring.

Parents and guardians can learn more about Title I NCLB School Choice and SES at: http://www.doe.mass.edu/nclb/parents.html.  Parents and guardians may learn more about the providers by going to the DESE’s “Find a Provider” page: http://www.doe.mass.edu/ses/search.asap.  Once here, select name of the district: Peabody from the drop-dwon menu.  A list of providers will appear.
