Summer School Program (Dependent upon available funds)

Depending upon available funding, the Title I Summer School Program runs for five weeks at the Carroll and Welch Elementary schools.  Reading, Writing, Spelling/Vocabulary, and Math skills are taught through whole group, small group, and one-on-one instruction.  The curriculum will focus on a different science theme at every grade level.  Students will acquire literacy and math skills through engaging activities that include science experiments, collaborative research projects and art.  The major objectives of the summer program are  for students to have fun and maintain academic skills.
